This is a review of any updated Class I and II training requirements as outlined in the Waste Management Facility Operator Rules and Regulations; this course includes a discussion of any pertinent regulatory changes in the Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations and current industry topics.

This is a one-day, eight-hour online course for operators of C&D, Industrial, MSW landfills and other solid waste management facilities.  We cover technical, regulatory and operational requirements for solid waste management facilities, with an emphasis on the requirements of the solid waste regulations and current industry topics.  This course is approved for 8 Professional Development Hours by VDEQ, NCDEQ, TDEC and SCDHEC and 9 PDHs by ADEM.  Note start times are Central Daylight Time,  all times will be 1-hour later if you are in the Eastern Time Zone.
The requirement for successful completion of the course and to earn continuing education hours is attendance at all modules.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION/TRAINING – ALCPET

The 9-hour CPE/T course has been approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). It serves as both continuing education and provides hours for initial certification. This is a one-day, classroom course for operators of C&D, Industrial and MSW landfills. We cover technical, regulatory and operational requirements for landfills, with a special emphasis on the requirements that are unique under ADEM’s Solid Waste Regulations.

You are eligible to earn .9 IACET Continuing Education Units for this course. Criteria for successful completion of this course and to earn IACET CEUs include attendance in all modules, completion of practice exercises in class and a passing score on the exam (if applicable). For those wishing to take advantage of IACET CEUs, please bring a valid government or employer issued ID to verify identity. (See bottom of the Home page for more information on IACET)

General Registration information

• Please register & submit payment at least 5 calendar days prior to class date. Later than that we cannot assure you will have a Course Manual in time for the class event.
• If you cannot attend a class, you MUST contact Joyce Training Program in writing at JoyceTraining@LaBellaPC.com in advance to either transfer, substitute, or cancel your registration. Refer to policies listed below.

Transfers/Substitutions:
• Transfers to a future scheduled class (or substitutions from one registrant to another from the same organization) are accepted at any time before the start of the class at no charge. JoyceTraining@LaBellaPC.com
• Customers are encouraged to transfer to a future scheduled class of the same course to be taken within twelve months of the original course date.
• If the customer cannot attend any scheduled class, then a refund will be issued in accordance with the Cancellation/Refund Policy below.

Cancellations, Refund Policy:
• Cancellations and request for refunds must be submitted in writing seven (7) days prior to the class start date to JoyceTraining@LaBellaPC.com.
• Registrants will receive a full refund, less a $35 administration fee.
• If Joyce Training Program cancels a class for any reason, customers will receive one of the following: 1) a transfer to a scheduled class of the same course to be taken within twelve months of the original course date; or 2) a full refund.

No-Shows:
• Registered customers who do not contact Joyce Training Program at JoyceTraining@LaBellaPC.com in advance to cancel their registration and do not attend their scheduled class will be charged the entire class fee.
Inclement Weather:
• Those unable to travel due to inclement weather: 1) may transfer to a scheduled class of the same course to be taken within twelve months of the original course date; or 2) a full refund may be requested.
